Playing Games With My Life

There’s a line between workplace misconduct and life-altering harm—and Venture Forthe, Inc. crossed it.

Because they falsely labeled me as having “resigned,” my health insurance was cut off on May 31. I didn’t resign. I was forced out after being ignored, retaliated against, and humiliated. Now, the consequences are hitting where it hurts most—my health.

Just two weeks ago, I scheduled a cardiologist appointment after experiencing a blackout, worsening symptoms, and an abnormal echocardiogram. This was not routine care—it was medically urgent. And today, I had to cancel it.

Why? Because my insurance is gone. They ended my coverage as part of their cover-up, and the out-of-pocket cost was too high to pay on my own. So instead of being evaluated for cardiac risk, I was forced to sit home and hope nothing worse happens.

This is what happens when companies play games with people's lives.

They didn’t just misclassify my employment—they weaponized it. They didn’t just delay my records—they delayed my access to care. And while they hide behind silence, I’m left documenting harm they caused in real time.

If they thought they could wait me out, they were wrong.
I’m still here—and I’m still writing.
